Stand IC Saratoga is a fledgling 501C3.
A vision that started at our kitchen tables, now has 5.5 acres of land in the city of Saratoga Springs on a well serviced bus route. Our modest neighborhood will contain 16 thoughtfully designed one and two bedroom townhomes.
Our founders, Bernice and Martina, are passionate about building a pocket neighborhood of modest homes for the people who help Saratoga run. Bernice is a health care professional, with experience of supporting those aging in place and those confronting mental health challenges. She has lived in Saratoga Springs for most of her working career and has watched as the dream of owning a home in this vibrant area has grown ever dimmer for her co-workers in health care and many others. Martina is an educator and yoga teacher, with experience supporting those facing disabilities. She offers Bracken Commons her creativity, insight and her strong belief in building community bonds . Their vision is to create comfortable, modest homes with shared grounds and features that homeowners can afford and flourish in. They understand the mutually beneficial relationship between home ownership and quality of life for Saratogians.
Together with a team of dedicated consultants and in partnership with the City of Saratoga Springs, we are in the approval stages for funding, and development.
